Guidelines to measure as per below 

TOP:

-PTP (pit to pit) is measured by distance across the front of a garment, measured between the two armpit seams.

-AH (armhole) is measured by distance across the front tip shoulder and end pit.

-L (length) is measured by distance measured from the front shoulder to the hem.

BOTTOM:

-W (waist) is measured by distance measured across the top band, with and without stretch.

-H (hip) is measured straight across the widest part of the pants, from one side seam to the other.
